I keep seeing “dry erase boards” made out of picture frames with glass, so I tried one myself. Since I was making the table runner I had leftover fabric to use in the frame. I decided to have the fabric monogrammed using tone on tone. I love how it turned out! Now I just have to buy the marker. I think I’m going to wrap the marker in brown ribbon and attach it to the back of the frame. I’m not a big fan of the ugly look of the marker with velcro right up against the frame. I’ll post the final version later. Oops! I gave it away without the final pic!
Anyway, I found it easiest to use the glass and line up where I wanted to cut the fabric. I marked the 4 corners and then used my rotary cutter to cut it evenly. I love how classy it looks!
